Is BB Glow right for me?

BB Glow is suitable for men and women of all ages and skin types (dry, normal or combination). If you have dull, uneven skin tone and texture, or hyperpigmentation and discoloration, freckles or post-acne scars, you may be a good candidate for BB Glow. It’s also helpful for those with large pores or superficial blood vessels. Due to the microneedling, BB Glow helps your skin naturally rejuvenate by boosting collagen production to improve the tone, texture and elasticity of the skin.

What are the results?

The BB Glow Facial includes cleansing, exfoliating, and toning of the skin followed by the mircroneedling of a hand-selected peptide infused serum, then the microneedling of the pigment customized to achieve their desired look, a lactic acid application, and finishing with LED light therapy. The coverage from this treatment will last three to seven days when performed in a single session. However, when receiving the treatment every one to two weeks for three to six consecutive sessions, the duration of the results increases to six to eight months.

 

What should I expect of the treatment?

The closest shade of the BB pigment cream is selected and penetrated under the skin using a microneedling device with 0.25mm to 1mm needles. With the BB Glow Facial, the multiple therapies of microneedling, hydration and LED light therapy activate cell production and help the lactic acid and pigments go deeper into the skin. BB cream ampoules will blend and adjust to your skin tone, rejuvenating and repairing your skin from the inside out. There is no downtime required with BB Glow. You can resume your day’s activities. It is typically advised to not wear makeup for the rest of the day and to avoid strenuous exercise and sweating. Stay out of direct sunlight and wear a sunblock of SPF 30.

Immediately after the procedure you may have redness that lasts two days; and swelling that may last one to two days. Small red “badges” could last for three days and skin may begin to flake on Day 3.

BB Glow is NOT suitable for you if you have:

•  Cancer blood coagulation disease or blood disorders

•  Acute infectious diseases

•  Skin disorders (eczema, neurodermatitis, psoriasis)

•  Hypertrophic skin disorders and keloid scars

• Inflammatory and active acne

• Open wounds and burns

• Epilepsy

• Pregnancy

When to book?

Two weeks after neurotoxins and other injectables, four weeks after chemical peels, and two weeks after laser treatments and facials. Wait three months before having a chemical peel after BB Glow treatment.
